Question. Opinions needed. I love reading historical letters. Things like “Letters of Note,” “Dear First Lady,” “Dear Mr. President,” and “Down and Out in the Great Depression.” Dear Mr. Lincoln is on my January tbr list. Can I count it read if I skip the 40 page introduction? It has to be a very engaging author for me to enjoy nonfiction and I really just want to read the letters. Thoughts?

Librarybelle I would say it‘s okay. Often, my classic editions have introductions that I don‘t really read or that I skim. 5y
RaimeyGallant Yes! I'm sure you've read those pages in Litsy posts alone. ;) 5y
