Pickpick

Really enjoyed this collection of short short stories by the author of The Hockey Sweater (and other things I now plan to check out!). The stories are surreal, often dealing with some inexorable force spreading across the world. Title translates to something like “Sweet Grief.” I don‘t think it‘s ever been published in English, but I recommend it if you can read French!

#in2019 I‘m going to keep reading through the #modernlibrarytop100 and writing reviews for my blog. I‘m not likely to finish this challenge, but maybe?! lol

Also planning to clear off my TBR shelf so I can buy some more new books ;)

@RealLifeReading

RealLifeReading Great goals. How many books have you already read from that list? 5y
twohectobooks @RealLifeReading I‘ve read roughly 76 of them. There are a few series (grr) so it depends how you count! I‘ve been working my way up from the bottom and am currently reading #23. 5y
RealLifeReading I‘m impressed!! 5y

If I read two or three of these ultra short stories per day I will have this finished by the end of the year. Won‘t get far without my French dictionary though ;)

tournevis You can do it! 5y
