I‘m feeling very frustrated my inability to focus on reading books for long periods of time. I‘m lucky if I can focus on a book for more than a few minutes without my mind wandering off and thinking about something else and then struggling with whatever I am reading at the moment. So to ease the pressure, I‘m going to postpone going to my library book clubs until such time I can focus on a book better.⤵️

melissajayne I still want to read and I want to work my way back up into reading more dense books that I like reading. My mom suggested Jodi Picoult, Elin Hildenbrand, etc. Does anyone have any more recommendations? 8mo
ravenlee What about a short story collection/anthology, or poetry? I like Nikita Gill‘s poetry when I‘m short on attention. 8mo
dabbe I don't know what genres you like, but the short story a day is a great idea that @ravenlee gave you. My favorite story of poetry is OUT OF THE DUST by Karen Hesse. If you like mysteries, you could read the 56 short stories of SHERLOCK HOLMES. I love reading comic books when I'm in a rut, too (my favorites are PEANUTS and MUTTS); you can get whole anthologies for those. Take a deep breath, and don't be so hard on yourself. Sending hugs. 🤗🤗🤗 8mo
Tamra I typically turn to a go-to comfort read or author. 8mo

I wanted to get this up nice and early so we will have time to vote and pick our #LittensLoveRomance August read. I‘m looking for suggestions - in August we will read a Romance Sub-Genre - so the pick could be historical, paranormal - really anything that is not simply contemporary. Your suggestions can be old or new publications. Put your suggestions in the comments or email littensloveromance@gmail.com and we will vote this weekend. Thanks!

Hey everyone! I‘m looking for some more suggestions for the second round of the #aestheticallymatched reading challenge! I already chose a ton of pictures, but I realized that if I only chose pictures or topics that spoke to me, they might not match up with what you guys are reading. So any suggestions are welcome. If you‘d like to see specific photos included, please email them to me at clwojick@live.com or if you‘d like to see specific (cont) ⬇️

Clwojick Items or subjects I can try my best to find matching photos. For example some of the items/themes I have already are podcasts, book club, four leaf clover, Picking a Xmas tree, beach yoga, donuts, mermaids, Greece, mermaids, doctor etc. ⭐️ 2y
Clwojick If there‘s anything to match specific reading prompts or challenges you‘re participating in, I‘m game to add them in! 💙 2y
tdrosebud Hmmm...I don't have any specifics. Though images that are aesthetically pleasing to me are cozy reading nooks and nature, both flora and fauna. Thank you for asking. For me, I'm mostly reading a book and then seeing if an image jumps out at me to go along with it, although there were some books that immediately brought forth a book I know I have sitting on my shelf. This is such a fun challenge, thanks for hosting it! 2y
Clwojick @tdrosebud thank you for joining us! I am so glad you are enjoying it. I‘ve definitely been matching book to a photos after I‘ve finished reading too! It‘s so fun when I‘m in the middle of a book and something happens and I‘m like oh OH! This matches that pic of so and so. 😆 2y

OKAY GUYS! I‘m heading to the library, just as soon as my package is delivered. I am sure I‘ll come across many that I‘ll want to check out, but I don‘t want to miss any MUST READS. So I‘m turning to my fellow Littens like always, and I‘m wondering if you guys have any favourites!

I‘ve decided that there‘s no way I could simply pick just 1 book per letter, so I‘ve adapted this challenge to be 100 #picturebooks during the #BBRC ♥️

LibrarianRyan Not that you need my suggstions, but some authors to check out: Ryan higgins, Aaron Reynold, Peter Brown, Jane Yolen, Karma Wilson, Karen Beaumont 5y
LibrarianRyan Since your heading to the library, ask the librarians for their favorites. Many times they pick books you wouldn't find mainstream like The Mole Who Went in Search of a Who Dun It, or I'd Really Like to Eat A Child. 5y
bookseller_cate Kobi Yamata‘s books are not to be missed. 5y

Clwojick @LibrarianRyan Of course I‘d love your suggestions! You always post reviews of the most adorable children‘s books ♥️I‘ll be sure to check them out! I might search for some titles online before I go, since I‘m not sure if they sort the picture books by title or author at my closest library. 5y
Clwojick @bookseller_cate thanks! I‘ll be sure to see if they have any! 5y

I'm searching for a cute and fluffy contemporary romance books set in Korea. I made a search but I can't find any.

I have recently watch "12 years promises" which I think is a Korean tv show and I absolutely love it. I'm on episode 21. I can't wait to see what will happen between Jun-Su and Jang Guk. I cried so many times.

P.S. Lee Won Geun, Namgoong Min and Danny Ahn are hot ? These men are making my heart jump an extra beat.

annahenke Only the very beginning is in Korea. Rest features a wonderful Korean American family and a love story between an autistic hero and a sort of arranged marriage bride in modern times. 5y

Hi everyone 👋🏻

So, I love stories like Downtown Abbey (Tv show) and I was wondering if you had any book suggestions for me that are in that time period (1912-1926). Or around that time. I like romance. ☺
