Look at that cover.
The art and creature design in this book are phenomenal.
The amount and variety of nightmarish creatures the artist created, just out of fingers, is staggering. The story and writing are ok; it‘s the art direction that really steals the show here.

Yep, this was as horrific and demented as the cover suggests. Perfect for Halloween. Trigger warning though, there are lots of hacked off fingers. You have been warned...in fact, I was just about to post this review but on seeing the cover again just before I hit Post, decided not to include it as the picture, it is that gory. Google it if you are curious, but didn't want to spoil anyone's day!
