Pickpick

This volume contains the first 3 books of the 13-Book Pilgrimage by Dorothy M Richardson. 3 down 10 to go! I am enjoying this more than I expected, but Miriam (the main character) also drives me crazy. And since it‘s semi autobiographical, that‘s Richardson! Looking forward to how she changes as she ages. #streamofconsciousness #englishlit #1001books

batsy Ooh, this has been on my TBR forever! I just have to find a way to collect all of the copies... (that's such s pretty edition) 5y
Liz_M That is a lovely looking edition! 5y
DreesReads @nasty and @Liz_M this edition is from my library and was in storage—it hadn‘t been checked out for over 10 years! I‘m picking vol 2 up tomorrow, I hope it is from the same set. 5y

JenniferP Where did you find these all? I keep thinking about reading this but they are hard to track down. 5y
Kristelh Nice, I have book envy. I need these! 5y

Liz_M @JenniferP Three from Abe Books, one from Alibris. You have to settle for "used good" which, in this case, means pencil underlines throughout. 5y
JenniferP Thanks! I‘ve been looking on eBay but only see them sporadically, except the first volume which seems pretty accessible. I‘ll try Abe books. 5y
BarbaraBB Hi Liz, just checking in! You‘re so quiet both here and on LT. I hope all is well and you‘re just busy reading and living 💜 5y
Liz_M @BarbaraBB I'm still reading (always), but as life has gotten very busy, I've stopped writing reviews (which always felt like work). Plus I am just OCD enough that it needs to be in order so now I have to remember what I thought about books read in June. 😁 5y
BarbaraBB @Liz_M I‘ll miss your reviews, they are very good, but I understand they felt like working. It is one of the reasons I prefer Litsy to LT lately: here I can write short reviews (writing in English is still difficult for me), keep track of my reading and keep up with what others read 5y
