First up is Jordan L. Hawk‘s Infernal Affairs - a crossroads demon, a non-binary character who sells their soul to be Chosen, a friendly hellhound, and a contract (among other things) that goes sideways. What more could a person ask for in the lead up to Halloween?
I saved this one for a little closer to Halloween because I don‘t read a lot of horror and I thought it would fit. I wanted something themed for the season but not scary and this will do it! It‘s been taunting me since it showed up magically on my Kindle but I‘ve stayed strong. I finally started it earlier and I can‘t wait to get home to stay up too late reading it.
It‘s release day!!! I‘ve read and enjoyed books by four of the authors and I‘m excited to read something by the two I haven‘t. I have to work so this book will taunt me all day. Dammit.
