Vermont has 183 libraries. There are only 251 towns and cities. I could go on and on about Vermont‘s dedication to their libraries, both large and tiny. Additionally, I could talk endlessly about Jessamyn West. She‘s an activist librarian who fought the Patriot Act on behalf of libraries because of privacy issues, a Vermonter, and one who pushes for community engagement with the assistance of the town library.
