Having spent years bribing the Energy Minister, Anatol Chenkov, the deal should go through smoothly. However, the president of Russia wants preside over the signing ceremony which means he needs to finalise the contract in a matter of weeks. But then Richard’s home life unravels when he finds a letter from a divorce lawyer intended for his wife. He suspects she is waiting for the deal to be signed before divorcing him, which leads Richard to take drastic action . . .

I can't focus on longer stories at the moment, but I've managed to get a hold of plenty of short stories for the time being.

That said, this was a very clever story. It was cleverly constructed and the end was a bit of a surprise. Initially I thought the prison would play a bigger part in the story, but there was a clever character tie in that I really liked 😊
