One year ago today my dad has his heart attack and then we lost him 2 months later, so my mom and I took this week to get away and spend some time together... it was amazing and much needed!

@MrBook Here is part of my #LitsyNeighborhood ♥️ The Boulevard Dam is 2 minutes from my apartment, and I love walking past it on a sunny day. Boulevard connects into Lake Superior, which is just a across the street.

Happy 906 day you guys! If you didn‘t know, 906 is the area code for the entire upper peninsula of Michigan. And because yoopers are a proud people, you get 906 day. This is when even though it‘s not fully fall yet, you wear flannels, go outdoors, appreciate nature, eat a pasty and all the good stuff you enjoy in Yoop. Happy 906 everyone!

Suzze My favorite place on earth. I go up there, get my room at the Sunset Motel and sit and stare at Lake Superior. Actually anywhere in the U.P. Makes me happy. We had a cottage in Manistique growing up. 6y
