Welcome to Litsy!

I spied this at the library and it intrigued me. Although I like short stories, I have decided this format is TOO short for me. I believe the word ‘haunting‘ was used in the afterword. 😟

Today I bought this gorgeous book of short stories from the Tate Modern and started on my commitment to do creative writing seriously every day this year. Writing was my biggest passion when I was younger and then it got beaten out of me when my mental health got bad. I‘ve rebuilt so much of my life and changed so much but my ability to write and feel good about it has been the last thing to come back. I feel like I‘m ready now.

Welp, I've been gone for a moment, busy getting acquainted with my newest obsession.???This sweet girl has brought so much joy to our lives!! But alas, I didn't do nearly as much reading as I'd naïvely thought I would on leave, & now that I've returned to work there is even less time in the day. I ran across this anthology of very short stories, & it's been the perfect tune up for me to get back into reading! #currentlyreading #shortstories
