Trying to get back into it. I'm at about 40% now but had stopped at 37% forever. Technically, the stories in volume one are set on Earth. The first stories were good, set in a generic Balkan state. The one I just started is narrated by an oak tree. This book is all my style, but I need to just commit to it.

5️⃣ Still trudging through it. Volume 1 is a collection of her best non-genre shorts and it's less my bag. It's incredibly written and plotted, lessons in the craft, but it does not capture my attention as it should. Looking forward to volume 2, the sff stories.

1️⃣ I don't leave pictures on my phone, or online. This is the twelfth left on my phone's backup, from July. A charity store haul.
2️⃣ About half way.
3️⃣ Too far away to know yet.
4️⃣ A bunch of my son's Lego.

Igrec wants you to know that he hates it when the power is out about as much as he hates it when it's thundering. About 125000 people without power on this side of the river and a smidge fewer on the other side. Gonna be a long reading day.
