Set in the rainforest of the Olympic National Park in Washington, the mystery needs no contrivance to be perfectly creepy and atmospheric. A few lone hikers have been the target of a mystery killer, and their manner of the deaths unexplainable - Bigfoot? A hidden tribe of undiscovered indigenous people?
mabell The anthropologic forensics of Dr. Gideon Oliver make this a compulsive page turner. Though a little dark for me (and I don‘t want to read the details of his amorous encounters!), I enjoyed this one more than the 1st in the series. I was happy to see the return of his FBI friend, John Lau - their rapport, combined with the forensics, make the story! 3y
Chrissyreadit Sounds so good!!! 3y
mabell @Chrissyreadit I like these - I read the 4th in the series a few years ago, and recently started with the first. I think I have 1, 2, 4, and 5, so I‘ll have to hunt up 3! 😆 3y
