pickDefinitely old school, especially the hero. Very much a product of the times he was written in. Arrogant, chauvinistic and at times downright mean. She, on the other hand, was progressive, being a pilot and career girl. Loved the setting. I love stories of survival, and for most of the book the hero, heroine and three other people (including the hero's wet blanket girlfriend), are stranded in the jungle after a plane crash.
