🎧 I forgot how much I liked Christopher Farnsworth‘s writing.

John Smith is an unbelievable character with unique psychic talents but like the MC in The President‘s Vampire, I can‘t help but like him. This was better than Killfile.

I got the message that the internet & social media will end us all. This is a seriously fun book. I would read a third book in this techno thriller series.

Bronson Pinchot narrates the books perfectly!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/3

Psychic mercenary, John Smith, is back to take down a shadowy figure who has weaponized the internet, using social media to put a price on the heads of famous targets. Smith has to stop deadly threat called "Downvote," an encrypted site on the "dark net" that lists the names of celebrities and offers a hefty bounty for anyone who can kill them—unleashing an anonymous and deadly flashmob with a keystroke. 5-Star Thriller!

🎧 John Smith is a mercenary psychic who is hired to discover who or what is behind a series of attacks on celebrities...

Christopher Farnsworth brings to life another fast and tightly plotted story that blends tech and action together without getting mired in gun porn or excessive navel gazing. It‘s basically *fun*!

The audiobook narrator, Bronson Pinchot was definitely into character this time 🙂

🎧 Next up in my audio queue is the *second* in the John Smith series about a mercenary psychic.

I loved the first-in-series story, ‘Killfile‘ though I was just a little less impressed with Bronson Pinchot‘s narration (he sounded a bit bored) but as ‘Flashmob‘ is on @Guildedearlobe ‘s “My Favorite Audiobooks of 2017” list, I‘m more than willing to go back into this biblioverse 🙂

Guildedearlobe I actually enjoyed the second book more than the first. 6y
