About six years ago the shuttle Discovery made her last flight to Dulles airport and would later go on display at the Air and Space Museum annex there. That morning we looked out the window and saw more than #clouds in the sky. #springintoreading

Made some 'Galaxy' crayons from old snapped crayons for the 3 year old. Was so nervous about doing this, but apart from the smell (now have fans going and windows open) they've turned out well. Just waiting for them to cool. 15 mins at 150 degrees in a fan oven, in silicon molds.

lucylovestoread I've been scared of doing this as well! Was it really truly easy? 6y
laurieluna @lucyinedinburgh yeah! Just snap the crayons though. If you smash them the colours just end up mixing into one colour. If you want multi coloured ones chunks are best. Put about an inch of crayon in each mold, or fill if you're doing shapes and open a window as it does smell a little! X 6y
lucylovestoread @miralunasbooknook Good tip, thank you! 6y
Cortg I use to do this for my kids when they were young! What fun! 6y
laurieluna @Cortg my toddler has used these more today than his original crayons 😂 6y
