The 21st book in this long-running series. Different than most of the other books in the series. If you are looking for the "murder mystery" that is typical of a China Bayles book, then this will be a disappointment. Because there isn't a mystery--this is really a ghost story. But I really enjoyed the flashbacks about the Galveston hurricane--those drove the narrative for me.

Still trying to catch up on my series and this was next up in the China Bayless Pecan Springs series. A bit unusual in that this one focused more on Ruby and her special talents. I really enjoyed this book 😊
