Wow, so apparently if you are a #BOTM BFF and you decided to skip the January selections you miss out on the free copy of one of the 2019 books of the year! Would have been nice if they said that 😠🤬

Aubgurl Yeah. I would have skipped January if it hadn‘t been for that. I wanted to get Daisy Jones and the Six. I ended up getting The Sun Down Motel just so I could get my free book. 4y

candc320 Ugh, @Aubgurl , that sucks! I totally missed anything saying the free book wouldn‘t transfer to February‘s box. I would have done the same thing if I‘d known! 4y

mrsthilkey That's a really shitty policy, and one of many things #botm has done wrong this year, in my opinion. They should have made it clear that it expired after one month, or else you obviously would have chosen a book! 4y

Throwing away the book sleeve right after buying seems crazy to me!! Whatever floats their boat I guess! 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

Tamra Okay, I admit I do it with children‘s pictures books because they do NOT stay on and it‘s not of MY volition. (Kids take off.) And given the volume we have and had, I‘m okay with it. (edited) 5y

wanderinglynn I will take of the dust jacket when reading (mostly because I don‘t want to damage it), but I would never throw them away. And I agree with @GondorGirl – it‘s not perfect condition if it doesn‘t have its dust jacket. 5y
