My parents had their children every five years. My own children are 7 years apart and my grandchildren are all 4 years apart. Seems to be a pattern here! 😀

On Monday I was able to hold my fifth grandchild, five days old, a little girl, Charley Jane. The smell of a newborn, the squeaks, and the soft sighs are 💕💕💕.

Suet624 @Jeg you DO see red hair. Which means I have 2 grandkids with red hair, one child from my daughter‘s wife and one from my son‘s wife. I wasn‘t expecting that! 1y

Tineke 😍🥰Congratulations! I have a 7 week old and the little noises are everything. I especially adore the sleeping noises. Tell the parents to make video. You forget the noises and the uncoordinated moves and their pooping face😂 I wish you could bottle baby smell. Currently in the middle of the night here and I'm waiting for my daughter to wake up so we can go upstairs. Never ever wake a baby, right😅 also, 13 years difference between my daughters. 1y

Suet624 @CBee Three out of four of my kids have moved back to Vermont, which I never expected. I live four houses away from one daughter so I get to see the grandkids when they walk back and forth from school which I love. My twin sons live an hour away and were able to buy houses four buildings apart from each other. One of the twins is the dad of Charley. 1y

Suet624 @Tineke I mentioned your suggestion to my son and this morning I received a video of a hiccuping baby with eyes wide open, looking around and making noises. She's been such a sleepy baby that this was the first time I was able to see her awake and alert. Thanks for the idea! 1y

Suet624 @Leftcoastzen I thanked all the gods last night and this morning that the furnace kept working! -21 this morning. Funny thing is, several years ago it was below -10 - often hovering around -20 - for several weeks. Colder than Alaska. No one freaked out about it like they have about this weekend. :) 1y

marleed @bookaholic1 Haha. I‘m determined to prove to her a book is not a chocolate fudge sundae! She gets so exited and runs to my lap when she sees I have a book ready. I turn a page or two, then she dives mouth agap at the page/board. It‘s kind of hilarious but I don‘t remember my kids doing this! 2y
