The sturdy brass construction of the Booklover's Bookmark is designed to embrace the edge portion of one or more leaves of a book and to be held firmly but removably in place by frictional engagement with the opposite faces of the leaf or leaves. Each Booklover's Bookmark is packaged attractively on a card in which the actual bookmark grasps a page from an actual page from an old book, illustrating for the potential buyer or the gift recipient the immediate attraction and utility of the item.
