I suppose you could say this book is about being yourself. In this case the crocodile didn‘t like to be in the water. He didn‘t like to swim, he didn‘t like to jump, and he hated being cold. But it turns out he was never really a crocodile. Can you guess what he was? I see it as an allegory for transgender even is it is not meant to be. Overall I really liked the story and the illustrations.
