My Very First Library
My Very First Library | Eric Carle
4 posts | 1 to read
Here is the perfect gift for young children learning their colors, shapes, and numbers. All four of Eric Carle's popular new split-page board books are now packaged together in a slipcased library. A game as well as a learning experience, these early concept books are both fun and smart. Children can turn the top pages independently from the bottom pages, creating a matching game that offers all the charm of Eric Carle's bright collage illustrations. Collected here are My Very First Book of Colors, My Very First Book of Shapes, My Very First Book of Numbers, and My Very First Book of Words. Irresistible fun for young hands and minds!

It's not much but it's coming along. My first library! We just moved & there's a spare room so we're turning it into a library/relaxing room 😎 There's 2 more bookcases in the right corner ($25 at Target hiii) and in the corner I'm standing in we're putting a daybed! I'm gonna get some cute throw pillows so it'll be more like a couch most of the time, but guests will also be able to sleep on it when they come visit 😍 @Blueberry

Gracie May rotated between 5 books for about 25 minutes at the library yesterday. She‘d occasionally ask me to read one to her but mostly she was happy on her own. I took that time to explore the YA section - so many enticing books!

1. It‘s kind of random but maybe once a month?
2. The one pictured looks amazing! Otherwise, all of them!
3. None. I forgot to go pick up my last one on time!
4. 8? I think. For sure before age 11. I started volunteering at the library when I was 11.

GarthRanzz It‘s Old Library, Trinity College, in Dublin. With the number of people wanting to go I keep saying we need a road trip. 😊 6y

This guy had his first trip to our happy place today! It was great to be back. I wasn't feeling well enough to go very often when I was pregnant, so we hadn't visited since the beginning of August. #1 was having a daddy and son day today, so I thought #2 would love a library trip instead of being stuck at home again. He did. 😊 #raisingreaders #librarylove
