Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan

Since I enjoyed the other Jack (Reacher) show, I thought I‘d give this one a go… and I‘m tapping out midway through episode 4. I might be too cynical for this type of propaganda now - also - no banter. It was nice to see Abbie Cornish tho.

RamsFan1963 I enjoyed reading The Hunt for Red October and Patriot Games, but I soured on Clancy as his books got progressively longer and seemed IMO to be more padding than story. 2y

thegirlwiththelibrarybag @RamsFan1963, just had a look at page count - most are the 500-600 page mark - but some closer to 900-1000 - which is huge! They‘d take up a lot of space on a bookshelf. 2y

I have The Sads and just can‘t bring myself to crack open any of the books I‘m currently reading. I was thinking of checking this out on Amazon. I haven‘t read Clancy in forever, but I loved his books in the 90s. Has anyone watched this series?

It just kind of sucks while I‘m in the middle of it. I am definitely loving on Bailey whether she likes it or not. 🤣 I just need another book that will totally suck me in (said as I give side-eye to my currently reading stack and my unread bookcases glare menacingly at me). 6y
