Halloween: Stories and Poems | Peter Sis, Caroline Feller Bauer

In third grade, I won my city's Young Author award and got to meet a published author- Caroline Feller Bauer, who presented me with this volume. My childhood dreams of being a writer died down once I discovered theatre and got a whole new set of impractical dreams...but I've never had the heart to throw away this collection which she inscribed for me, a book of #Halloween stories and poems. #WordsOfOctober

Finally able to start the #Scarathlon2020 fun! Stupid work getting in the way...I watched some spooky TV and read this pretty lame Halloween anthology. Honestly the only thing scary about this book was there was a poem in it called “The Hairy Toe”. Still, I got 51 points for #TeamHarkness!

bibliobard Speaking of short story points — do points stack. Like if the story has an incarnation of death but it is set during Halloween? Would it just get the Halloween points or Halloween and theme points? 4y
