The Ashes of Waco
The Ashes of Waco: An Investigation | Dick J. Reavis
2 posts | 2 read
Investigation of the raid on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas in 1993, which resulted in the deaths of over seventy people including leader David Koresh, arguing that the government's actions were more the result of religious prejudice than of any suspicion of illegal activity on the part of the group.

BAM!
This book was interesting, but a little confusing, possibly because my reading was interrupted by covid and comprehension went WAAAY down after that. However, it was abundantly clear that what happened at Waco wasn‘t as clear cut as it seemed and many mistakes were made by our government, which is always frightening. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really wanted to get more information about this event, but this book was lacking. The wiki page held my attention more & got exactly what I needed without all the extra info that seemed irrelevant. Life is too short for bad books.....
