It wasn't making any sense. After sometime I stopped complaining and this Beauty started seeming more practical...

I‘ve never heard or read the original before. I didn‘t know Belle had siblings. I like how she asked her dad for the rose and that‘s what Emma Watson asked for in the remake. This was lovely, but I definitely missed the singing and Lemiere and Cogsworth.

Okay. Beau and the Beast by Kay Simone is by far her best M/M book (that i've read. Hah) It's got the sexual tension, the fantasy elements, the proper character development that at 61% I already feel a 5 Star coming out of my review typing fingertips! Haha! Plus points for this little bit to acknowledge the beloved fairytale's problematic issues! π #romantsy

"I want adventure in the great wide somewhere..." I went to the first showing of Beauty and the Beast in my pretty low-key Belle dress tonight. I cried, I laughed, I felt so wrapped in warmth. Maybe it's nostalgia. Who knows. But I loved this movie. I'm seeing it as many times as possible.

pickI just read the original story of Beauty and the Beast and love how Disney didn't completely change the story; the same feeling and emotions were present throughout! I was enchanted the whole tale and wish I could be as kind, generous, compassionate, and forgiving as Beauty!

pickVery quick read which is perfect if you're trying to get a child into reading! Beaumont took Villeneuve's original "La Belle et La Bête" and shortened it for a fairytale that children could read. Really quick and really good!
