Well, unsurprisingly May was a difficult month for reading. I managed better than expected, actually, ending with 10 books/2885 pages; 4 nonfiction, 3 GN, and 2 authors of color. Still no #BookSpinBingo though, sadly. One of these days…

Here‘s my #bookspinbingo list for June - so many books I wanted to include on here that I could have had two boards!

Looking forward to the 2nd!

Here's the bingo card! First, I put our official numbers (10 & 5) back in the mix. Then I drew them all out & wrote them down as I went, meaning the official numbers are just mixed into the card with the rest! As you can see, 21-25 are both labeled with their numbers & also as free spaces, so you can use them to match however you wrote your list. To score a bingo, just read books (in any order) that are in any row or column!! ⬇

TheAromaofBooks 1. I‘m tagging everyone who specifically said they wanted to participate in the Bingo aspect of the challenge, but ANYONE IS WELCOME. So if you posted a #BookSpin list and now you think the Bingo looks fun – just jump right in!!! ⬇ 3y
TheAromaofBooks 2. Remember – NO PRESSURE!!!! If this starts to stress you out, just take that page right out of your journal and pretend it never existed!! This challenge is to encourage you to read, not to make you feel like reading is a chore!!!

3. FREE SPACES can be filled with any book that is NOT already on your list!! ⬇
3y
TheAromaofBooks 4 & final - As a reminder, only the “official” numbers will count towards giveaway entries. I don‘t want the giveaway to be stacked against people who aren‘t able to read lots of books each month. So basically there is still a maximum of 2 entries possible per month no matter how many books you read from your list.

I love all of your posts and your enthusiasm so much!! Keep me posted on your progress!!

i.besteph Woohoo! 🥳🥳 3y
VeganCleopatra I don't know if this impacts your tracking but just in case I wanted to let you know that my tag is spelled incorrectly. No biggie for me but just letting you know. 🤷‍♀️ Thanks for the bingo as always. 3y
TheAromaofBooks @VeganCleopatra - Thank you for the update!! I depend almost entirely on people tagging me instead of going through the hashtags, so it shouldn't make too much of a difference!! 3y
TheYankeeIrregular I didn't see my name on the list but I would like to play. I sent my list in late though, it was after midnite. I'm sort of a night owl. WHO! WHO! 3y
TheAromaofBooks @TheYankeeIrregular - Thank you for letting me know!! I must have missed your original post, but you are on the list now!! 3y
PandaPanda Yay! Going to try bingo this month as well! 3y
TheYankeeIrregular I didn't know to use the@symbol when I tag someone. Oops! Learning Curve. Speaking of which, when you just have something to say, what do you put for the book: Title and Author? I see some folks use Untitled and Unknown, but not sure how that works? Thanks in advance 3y
BarbaraBB Love this!! 3y
Bookwormjillk woo hoo! 3y
TheAromaofBooks @TheYankeeIrregular - That seems to be up to personal preference. You can tag “Untitled“ as the book, or you can tag a book that matches the “theme“ of what you want to say. For instance, this post isn't really about the book B-I-N-G-O, but my post is about bingo, so I tagged a book that matched it!! 3y
Deblovestoread Going to try for a bingo this month...yippee! 3y
Sargar114 Thanks again! Feeling hopeful this month! 3y
Kmacwiththepaperback How does book spin bingo work? I am so down for book bingo! 3y
IndoorDame I didn‘t see my name on the list. Could you add it? I want to play. I can tag you again in my original post if that helps. 3y
MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm Yay!! Can‘t wait to get home and arrange my board! ❤️😍❤️ 3y
TheAromaofBooks @Kmacwiththepaperback - So the basic challenge (BookSpin) is participants make a list of 20 books they've been meaning to read & on the 2nd of every month I draw 2 numbers (BookSpin/DoubleSpin) & everyone tries to read those books from their list throughout the month. Some people wanted to read more than just 2 books, so a few months ago I started adding the Bingo part - same list of books, but I shuffle all the numbers onto a bingo board ⬇ 3y
TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) & to score a bingo you read the books from your list that match the numbers in that row/column. Here's a master post I made with more details if you're interested - https://www.litsy.com/web/post/1989556 - But to join all you need is a list & after you've made it, you can make your bingo board using the board above!! Tag me when you post your board/reviews of your books!! Let me know if you have any questions!!! @Kmacwiththepaperback 3y
TheAromaofBooks @IndoorDame - Sorry that I missed you!! I don't always have time to scroll through the hashtag, so if you tag me directly when you make your post, it helps me out!! But I'm always glad to have you along for another round!! 😁 3y
TheAromaofBooks @sharread - Here's the bingo card!!! 3y
paper.reveries OMG HALLELUJAH! 5 + 10 are in the same line! 3y
Liz_M I want to play Bingo, too! And silly me, I made a list of 25 books and then used a free bingo card site to create a card. Now off to re-arrange it! 3y
BGam Hi, can you tell me what exactly do you do with Free spaces pls? 3y
TheAromaofBooks @BGam - Free spaces can be filled in with any book that is NOT on your list already. That way if you see a shiny new book you want to pick up instead of one of your scheduled reads, you can still check off a bingo box!! Some people prefer to have no free spaces, so that's why the numbers are there also, because some people have their list of books numbered through 25. 3y
Crazeedi @TheAromaofBooks I just saw this and dont exactly understand how this works, I must have a dead brain 3y
Crazeedi @TheAromaofBooks I'm trying to get my groove back, lol 3y
TheAromaofBooks @Crazeedi - I know the feeling haha So you start with your BookSpin list of 20 books & basically you just take the list & plug the books in where their numbers are. So if I want to check off the no. 19 square, I read book no. 19 from my list. Like BookSpin, everyone's Bingo card will look different because everyone has different books on their lists. Because BookSpin is a list of 20 books, but it takes 25 squares to make a Bingo card, 21-25 are ⬇ 3y
TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) free spaces (or some people choose to have their list be 25 books long). If it helps, here is my November BookSpin list - https://www.litsy.com/web/post/2062343 and then here is how that same list looks on November's bingo card - https://www.litsy.com/web/post/2064626 Just let me know if this doesn't make sense... I tend to get all rambly! 😂 @Crazeedi 3y
BGam @TheAromaofBooks thank you 😊 3y
ElizaMarie Oops I don't know if I missed the tag or I wasn't tagged this time around but.. can you please re-add me to the list :) 3y
TheAromaofBooks @ElizaMarie - Definitely!! I must have missed your November list!! 3y

#BookwormBingo @EclecticReaders

😂 Only three left. Not too bad! Probably being too literal on one and should've marked it.

EclecticReaders Very nice! 5y
