My silly manfriend offered to take me op shopping today. He lasted all of 5 mins then thankfully went away to entertain himself at the RSL across the road. I got 2 hours to myself. Woo hoo! These are my spoils from just one shop. Currently in the bath enjoying one of the bath bombs. Grand total $27.

so-so

Drewe is a well known Australian writer & I've enjoyed a number of his books, The Shark Net being most memorable.

In this, his latest book, too many characters & storylines were introduced for me to properly keep track, let alone get invested in them. His writing is very good & there were some memorable scenes, but overall this was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ read.

Lots to discuss about it at book club tonight, & there is a chance my opinion of it will improve...

Finished yesterday for book club tonight. It took me a while to get into but once I did I enjoyed it. Very Australian. Lots of " issues" discussed. Should make for a good discussion.
