I've never studied advanced literature or creative writing or anything of the sort and sometimes I think maybe this book isn't written badly, maybe I'm just not sure of the definition of good writing... Sometimes I feel that despite the big amount of books I've read I'm just too much of a layman to determine if a book's well-written or not 🤔

Megabooks I can relate. I‘ve easily read 1000 books in the last 8-10 years, but I still feel my taste is very subjective. Probably less so in nonfiction - especially investigative, but fiction 🤷🏻‍♀️ I like what I like, and I‘m fine with that. 5y
starlight97 @Megabooks you're so right 🙂 5y
LapReader Depends on where I am in my life at the time. If I like a book I like it. The opinions of others don‘t concern me but do interest me. 5y
starlight97 @LapReader true 🙂 5y
