christineandbooks Can I ask a question about hand-lettering? Are you already naturally artistic? Do you have good handwriting? I want to try it but I have no natural skills... 7y

emtobiasz @christineandbooks I'm not usually very good at 2D art (most of my art experience is with pottery and clay). My handwriting is legible but nothing special, IMO. Everything I've done with hand lettering so far feels more like practice than moving towards a finished product, but I'm trying to remind myself I have to start somewhere! 7y

Me: I have so much work between school and my library job and getting ready to move. I have no time to do anything for fun right now, especially read.
Also me: I've always wanted to get better at lettering! Let me order every book I can find at the library on it and I'll totally have time to read all of them and practice!
