My Mum loved James Herriot books when I was a child, so I did too!

1. We weren‘t a music household so I was a late starter - the first song I remember loving was Freedom by Wham.
2. Thankful for my Litsy friends and all the wonderful chats we have, the advice we give and get and the fabulous support that there is on here. 😘😘😘

Part 2 of my out of control used book sale haul! There‘s a DBC pick, some Louise Penny mysteries (I‘m trying to track down the whole series), poetry, some Christmas books, The Read-Aloud Handbook (which I keep taking in and out of my Book Outlet cart — for 50 cents though? Yea, I finally got it!) and a few others. Eek! That‘s a lot of books! 📚😬🙊📚

In James Herriot country, with my own Tricky Woo. Just passed through the town where he practiced. If you haven't read these books, they are really great.

How could someone get rid of this awesome book? Found this James Herriot compilation at the thrift store for $1.58! Inside there are color photos of Yorkshire to go with excerpts from the books. In the margins are tidbits and photos about animals, tractors, utensils, etc. that are spoken of in the book. Now it's safe for life on my shelf. #recommendsday
