A "Bible" that talks today's language - gritty, earthy, witty - A "Bible" for those who've never read the Bible, and for those who've read it too much.

Fellow Littens! Can you tell me which two books you think are currently the 'buzziest' on Litsy? The ones that everyone and their dog/cat/significant other seem to have read/be raving about? No right or wrong answer, I'm just intrigued....

CarolynM Sometimes I‘d have an immediate answer for you, but right now I‘m not sure that anything is really dominating. 2y
readingjedi @CarolynM Yes, that's exactly how I feel! Usually there are 1 or 2 books that seem to be everywhere. But it seems kinda quiet at the moment. 2y
ShelleyBooksie Carrie Soto 2y

TrishB Probably new Stephen King too? 2y
readingjedi @ShelleyBooksie Yes, that's a good call. 2y
readingjedi @TrishB I've not read any King (not really sure why!) Is it a good one to start with? 2y
JamieArc I would say the tagged book. Had never heard of the series until a bunch of Littens posted about it 2y
ravenlee I‘ve been seeing a lot about Haven, Carrie Soto, and the new Stephen King. But you‘re right, it‘s not as clearly defined as it often is. The buzz about #scarathlon is everywhere, though. 2y
vivastory I haven't read it but I've noticed a lot of people still posting about 2y
StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego @vivastory Agreed, lots of posts about that one. 2y
Susanita On the desktop version, you can hit the Profile button on the top right. Then scroll down to trending books. I'm not sure where that feature is on the phone app, if anywhere. 2y
readingjedi @Susanita My digital life is entirely phone based which is a shame as that's exactly the feature I need right now! 2y
ShelleyBooksie I had no idea there was a trending books function!!! Must be because I am phone based as well. 2y
TrishB Not sure where to say start with SK. Do you prefer horror, fantasy or slightly supernatural? 2y
Kimberlone This one was a big release recently 2y
readingjedi @TrishB Fantasy is my preferred genre in general. 2y
MatchlessMarie @Susanita I keep forgetting about the wonders of the Desktop site. I really enjoy using it that way for browsing at least. 2y
MatchlessMarie I think the buzziest books tend to be BOTM picks or buddy reads. I‘ve seen a fair bit about Love on the Brain and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. 2y

So I might've gone a LITTLE bananas at the used bookstore this morning. 🍌

Robothugs So many good books! I approve! 7y
pocketmermaid @Robothugs I couldn't believe my luck! I was there two weeks ago and didn't walk away with so much gold. The turnover rate of books at that place is very unpredictable. 7y
LauraBrook Awesome haul! 7y
