🎍I love to visit gardens but sadly I do not have that talent.

🌞 I love to read outside. But I have to be careful because I burn easily.

Thanks for the tag Danielle! 💜 Have you played? @TheSpineView @Texreader @DebinHawaii

KathyWheeler My only gardening talent is my ability to kill any plant that crosses my path. 😞 2y
wanderinglynn @KathyWheeler same! I can kill even the so-called “unkillable” plants. 😆 2y
KathyWheeler @wanderinglynn Me too! The minute someone gives me a plant and says, “This is unkillable,” I know I may have it for only a short time. 2y

I loved this vibrant book of children's poetry! The pages come alive as the seasons begin to change, and the imagery pairs wonderfully with each line. Beautiful illustrations and excellently composed poems. I really loved how at the end of the book it shows the full poems from where the exerts were pulled from and a thumbnail of the illustration used to convey that poem. Great book!

When I started reading this book I was disappointed. I was expecting an anthology and instead read a picture book about a girl enjoying a spring day. This book is more than it appears at first glance as all the words from the story are actually quotes from the "great poems and writers from the past." The author includes the original poems, including this one by ee cummings, in the epilogue which makes this a must have. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Daisey This page is perfect for this weekend's weather in my part of the world! 7y
Zelma I love this author. She's written some excellent picture books! 7y
WanderingBookaneer @Zelma : I'll have to seek them out. 7y
Zelma @WanderingBookaneer she always has great artwork, life lessons, diverse characters. Some of the ones I got for my children's collection in Alaska were Knees (about dyslexia), Made in China (adoption) and Magic Words (Native Alaskan). She has a bunch of fantastic titles. 👍 7y
