Went to an advanced screening of John Wick with some work friends and was unprepared for a movie that was almost 3 hours long 😅 parts of this movie were excellent and parts of this movie were kinda boring.

He‘s best known today for his insane suit of armour, made from farming equipment that allowed him to escape from several shoot outs with police, unharmed. This suit of armour is now on display at the State Library. His last words (which may just be urban legend) were reported to be ‘such is life‘ which is what what was referenced in John Wick. True History of the Kelly GangjulesG I think we talked more about the reasons for why and when the Irish came to Australia. We might have talked about a few famous figures from the 19th century. O'Hara Burke from the expedition to cross the whole continent of AUS comes to mind. 13mo

When I was in primary school, the sporting houses (everyone was divided into one of four houses) were named after Australian explorers - I think Burke was one of them. I was in Hume - who I‘m going to google now because I don‘t remember a single thing about him. 13mo
