pickI have been meaning to read this series from the beginning after loving The Road Home and am finally getting around to it. This book begins with Mike‘s arrival in Vietnam and his struggle to adapt quickly. While it is a YA book it does not shy away from the brutality and it packs a lot into its short length. Looking forward to finishing this series and rereading The Road Home with a more complete picture of the events that came before.
