pickA sweet ending to the series. Lady Jane began uninterestingly but she grew on me, & her friendship w/Frances was cute as it developed. I also enjoyed the relationship. With Lady Jane & the Comte both approaching it slowly & warily, I felt like the story gave them a good amount of time & space. My one complaint is that there wasn't enough of the poor relations themselves, but the way their stories wrap up is heartwarming & charming. I'll miss them!
pickI saw a fellow Litten‘s review of one of these books, and my interest was piqued. I‘m not much of a romance reader, but these books set in Regency England were light, fun reads. The audiobooks read by Davina Porter were really excellent and most entertaining! If you‘re in a reading slump, I‘m betting these will get you out of it tout suite. When I finished the last book, I realized that I had read them all within one month. 😳👍🏽
pickI just finished the poor relations series and it was great cosy fun. The last book is not my favorite because it has less of the antics of the poor relations themselves but it is a satisfying end to the series. The audiobook narrator is really good
