#2019Book65
This holds up as a pretty solid coming-of-age YA novel, but kind of loses its way during the chapters that delve shallowly into some vague supernatural elements.

I love that I keep seeing my birthday in books lately! This was my #letteri for #LitsyAtoZ and, while it took me forever to finally get time to finish it, it turned out to be an ok read. The author is lovely and I so enjoyed having dinner with her during her visit to our campus.
I just got my book #signed after a really great discussion on her life in the narrative arts. I feel inspired and energized and only slightly guilty that I have not yet had the time to finish the book! 😬 So far, so good, though!
Woke up with the plague, so I'm going to snuggle in my Chiefs blanket and begin my #letterI for #LitsyAtoZ 🙃 I get to meet the author in a couple of weeks and I am pumped!
Kristen-Paige Madonia is coming to campus in a few weeks, so I had to order this so she can sign it. Naturally, I ended up buying 5 other books on Amazon because I couldn't help myself! I haven't read this one yet, but it is my #letterI for #LitsyAtoZ and I'm so excited to meet her! I ❤️ my job!!
Excited to start this book about a missing father and the Great San Francisco Earthquake of 1906.
