I read this book eight times before I found the pigeon.

Mo Willems is a godsend. I think this is his latest book. My kids and I were in stitches! They were cracking up at how I was tripping over the words, and at the absurdity of the story. Get this one now!
This book is hilarious to read aloud! And it's about loving bread ? and making mistakes and being a loving parent. And frog humor and words that rhyme with "ette" ? i wasn't especially keen on the illustrations at first but the process info on the back flap makes them more appealing. The impatient toddler happily giggled through multiple readings! #babyreads #picturebooks #humor
Meh to the story, but the art was really cool! It's all paper model and seemed like it probably took eons (like claymation, such I always give mad props to)! 😱

Kids' library loot this week! Lots of funny books, a huge hamster and more sea creatures.
I've remarked before about the difficulty factor of reading Nanette's Baguette aloud, but my newly literate three-year-old does not share my qualms. "Please, mommy, I read it to you and Best Bunny?" he says, taking it handily from me, and then gallops joyfully through the pages. #brainfuel @Liberty
An ode to baguettes! I can relate to Nanette's bread feelings 😍 in fact this book mades me want a baguette, right now.
If Mo Willems had made a drunken bet to write a most-difficult-to-read-out-loud children's book, this would be that book. Holy moly, the tongue-twistingness that lives here is beyond belief.
A book to be read after a couple of glasses of wine out loud. Bet you can't read about Nanette and her baguettes without laughing out loud,
Bookseller Katie is bringing this book to share with her family on Thanksgiving, and it's one of the books she's most #thankful for this year. What are some books you're thankful for? #indiebookstore
I read this to my eight and five-year-old last night and they laughed out loud. So did the adults in the room.
The title tells you enough about the book, other than that I won't give the story away. Mo Willems is brilliant. He understand humor for kids (and adults), his writing is succinct, his illustrations are charming. All together it's awesome.
It's just slightly depressing when you are allergic to gluten.
