Geeklet I did the same thing with Clarke! I absolutely loved the first book I read by him (The City and the Stars) but man, the second was awful (The Last Theorem). 5y

TobeyTheScavengerMonk @xicanti Here‘s my extremely unsubstantiated theory: Since Palpatine is confirmed to be returning in some form, I think he had something to do with her super Force connection, and possibly her conception like it is strongly implied he did with Anakin. That way J. J. gets his twist and Rey still keeps her nobody parents. To be clear, I think this idea would be dumb, but it‘s still probable. 5y
